The Cargill Petroleum group employs over 140 employees, with professionals in risk management, trading, logistics and research. We have the worldwide market research team working closely with traders across energy products, which allows us to anticipate changes and effects of conferencing energy markets. Our goal is to be the world’s local energy partner through our ability to manage risk, capital and logistics to create value for our customers.Cargill Petroleum started its China operations in 2001.Traders in Singapore and Shanghai work to supply buyers with petroleum products to meet China's growing energy requirements.

Cargill Petroleum is currently one of the leading suppliers of fuel oil to China and we are supplying more clean oil products. Besides being an active participant on the Shanghai Futures Exchange, Cargill has also been awarded the wholesale trading license within China. Cargill has ongoing plans to develop new customer relationships and business models.
