Cargill Ferrous International has been a champion of China's steel exports for many years exporting steel from China to destinations such as the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and Latin America. In 2005, Cargill became the first foreign company in China to obtain a local steel import and export license that allows Cargill Ferrous International to provide full logistics and distribution services to its customers. Cargill Ferrous International manages its China business through traders based in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
