Project Spotlights

• Farmer Training Program: To date, Cargill has trained over 2 million Chinese farmers by sharing our world-class crop nutrition, animal breeding and feeding technologies to increase productivity and animal health.
• Food Safety Training Program: In 2008, we signed a co-operation agreement with China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) to establish a joint food safety management-training program.
• Cargill Cares Rural Education Program: In 2007, we launched the “Cargill Cares Rural Education Program” in cooperation with the China Children and Teenagers’ Foundation to renovate over 40 schools in rural areas.
•  Public welfare: Cargill employees and businesses contributed RMB 7.3 million for relief and rebuilding efforts for the May 2008 earthquake in Sichuan province
  • Cargill Cares Councils provides supplies to help kindergarten in Earth-quake hit regions well prepared for winter, Nov. 2008
