Cargill’s cooperation with China can be traced back to the 1970's when the Sino-U.S. Joint Communiqué was just released. Today Cargill is proud to be an integral part of China, having more than 4,400 employees, 37 wholly owned companies and joint ventures in the country.
As an experienced agriculture, food and risk management supplier, Cargill is in a unique position to contribute its global expertise to China’s ongoing moves to raise farmer’s incomes of its rural population and develop its countryside.
